ATTENDANCE DISCTPLINE ETC.
The College aims at maintaining high academic standard and insists on regular attendance in the academic programmes and activities of the college. There will be Test Examinations during the session and absentee students in the examination will not be sent for B.Ed. Examination.
Students attending lessthan75% of the total lectures delivered and failed to obtain passmarks in the Test Examinationare not eligible to appear at the UniversityExamination.Students coming from Other Universities (OU) will have to submit “Migration Certificate” at the time of admissionor within a month of admissionto the Principalof the College, for registrationunder WBUTTEPA on payment of requisite Registration Fee, failing which their admission is liable to be cancelled.
Deputed teachers can not avail ofall leave according to rules.
Application for leave of absence should be submitted in advance and sanction in advance be obtained before proceeding on leave. Deputation allowance will be deducted proportionately if the leave of absence exceeds the admissible limit. Students while under training should behave and conduct themselves in such a way, so as not to undermine the dignity of the teaching profession and the institutions to which they belong. For persistent acts of misconduct and/or indiscipline a student is liable to be fined and/or expelled from the College.
